About US
Menakpansee, which translates in Mano as “Family Torch Bearers”, is a family organization of the descendants and kindred of Wan Yelegon Family, and seeks to promote unity, as well as fosters relations amongst its members . The organization is incorporated in the state of Georgia as a nonprofit, and has auxiliary branches in Europe, Monrovia, and Nimba County. The organization was established in December 1989 in Flumpa, Nimba county, and seeks to promote the following cardinal objectives:

To foster and nourish the spirit of oneness and togetherness to the extent that what effects one effects all members.

To engage in social, educational, and commercial activities with the view of making this association self-sustaining.

To provide incentives to deserving members in the pursuit of education and economic development
Menakpansee was envisioned by our parents to bridge the gap in uniting and preserving our family legacy, recognizing the rapid growth, and spread of Menakpansee family members around the world. It seeks to achieve its objectives through annual family conventions, Online resource location for family collaboration, as well as identifying with family members in good and bad times.
